Name: Laurence Trevelyan
Titles: Lord, The Herald of Andraste, Inquisitor
Codex Entry Trevelyan, The Free Marcher
Highlights
-The Trevelyan family has strong ties to the Chantry.
-The children who will not become heirs (such as Laurence) are expected to become clerics or Templars.
Class: Weapon and Shield Warrior, Vanguard
Codex Entry Weapon and Shield Abilities
Highlights
-Blocks attacks for the mages and rogues of the party
-Acts as the party tank
Age: 40
Armor: Wears Heavy Armor when out on the field, formal attire when roaming Skyhold
Romantic Interest: Will flirt with anybody and everybody regardless or gender or race, though his comments are generally not as smooth as he would like. A romantic at heart, he prefers getting to know his partner rather than engaging in one-night stands.
Codex Entry Sexuality in Thedas
Religious Beliefs: Andrastian, and a firm believer in the Maker.
STATE OF THE WORLD / DECISIONS (major spoilers)
+Pursue the Templars. Dissolve the Order and have them work for the Inquisition.
+Save the Empress from assassination. Gaspard is banished.
+Prisoners are generally conscripted into the Inquisition during judgment. The worst criminal offenders are sentenced to death.
+Good relations with King Alistair of Ferelden, for the moment
+Stroud dies, the remaining Grey Wardens join the Inquisition
+Morrigan drinks from the Well of Sorrows
+Calpernia learns the truth of Corypheus' deception and is spared by the Inquisition
COMPANIONS (My default, but obviously happy to change it up if playing with these characters)
+Cassandra - Great relationship, bonds forged through their shared warrior class and respect for religion
+Varric - Great relationship based on banter, a shared interest in destroying red lyrium, respect for his friends
+Solas - Mixed relationship. Laurence's questions and interest in history are appreciated, but his general mistrust of magic, spirits and support of the Grey Wardens loses him points.
+Vivienne - Good relationship thanks to their shared belief that mages should be 'protected' in circles, more conservative views about the Chantry
+Sera - Good relationship. Although he often finds her comments and actions baffling, playing pranks now and then is entertaining. They sometimes butt heads over how nobles should be treated, but they are in agreement that magic and spirits should be watched over carefully.
+The Iron Bull - Great relationship. They both like fighting and drinking. Laurence encouraged him to save the Chargers rather than sacrifice them for the Qunari.
+Dorian - Mixed Relationship. They both enjoy a good conversation, but Laurence disapproves of Dorian's ideas about some uses of magic and Tevinter society in general.
+Blackwall - Great relationship. Laurence respects Blackwall's honor code and determination as a warrior. He helps him find Grey Warden artifacts, and when Blackwall reveals his true self, rescues him from execution.
+Cole - Mixed relationship due to distrust and Laurence's wariness about spirits. They can both agree that it's good to help common people, however. Out of an abundance of caution he agrees with Solas that Cole should embrace his spirit identity.
